Being one of the largest swimming pool chemical importers in New Zealand for over 30 years, we could see a need in New Zealand for a good quality above ground swimming pool.  We also decided if we are going to import pools, we might as well bring in the best pools available in the world.    What we were looking for were; ·        Pools that would stand up to New Zealand conditions .        Must be sold worldwide. ·        Pools have to comply and exceed the worlds toughest safety standards for swimming pools (NSPI Standards) ·        The company would have to have a excellent reputation WORLDWIDE ·        The company has to have the latest technology available in pool construction ·        Look good in the backyard ·        Be DIY .        Be able to be installed above ground, in ground and into a deck ·        And most importantly, excellent value for money. Basically we were looking for the best pool available in the world.     So back in 1999, after many years of researching the different pools available round the world, there was one that stood out from all the rest.   VOGUE POOLS in Canada.    They had the latest technology in pools.  In fact, they had just come out with the first full blow-moulded resin frame pool - the Impact.  This was huge news in the pool industry worldwide.  They saw the problem with the steel framed pools (after a few years the pool chemicals were rusting out the frame structure of the pool).   We have been told after many, many years of research and many millions of dollars in design and construction costs, they designed the Impact pool and a few years later they have designed the newer model - the Discovery Pool.     We have been very impressed with their on going research in improving and upgrading of the pools.  It is no wonder that they are regarded as one of the World’s Leading aboveground Pool Manufactures.
